Opportunity Summary 

Working with staff and officers of Monterey Bay Central Labor Council, students will research Collective Bargaining Agreements between Educational Institutions (Community Colleges & K-12 Schools) and their employees representatives. The goal is to pull information from contracts for an "apples to apples" comparison.

Opportunity Training 

An initial meeting with students will discuss the types of data we are seeking and how to go about finding it. It will also cover a brief summary of contract interpretation as well as familiarity with employment fringe benefits.

Organizers and facilitators will be available to answer questions/provide direction when necessary.
