Opportunity Summary 

Monterey Bay Central Labor Council's Resident Leadership Academy provides participants with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to be an effective advocate for themselves and for their communities. With the support of the organizer and program facilitators, service learners will support participants in understanding and developing the skills necesary to successfully complete the program.

Priority given to students in GS 339S

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Opportunity Training 

There will be 2-3 hours of training to ensure students are familiar with the goals of the program and skills we want participants to develop.

Students will be able to contact organizer/ facilitator at any time. In addition, the organizer and/or facilitator will be present at all events. We customarily have a pre-meeting before each event and a debrief after each event.
