Connections Family and Behavioral Services is a mental health practice focused on the mental health needs of clients with ADHD, Autism, Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. Our teams include licensed therapists, pre-licensed masters level therapists and paraprofessional clinical interventionists.
The Clinical Interventionist implements the plan created by the team with family involvement to support the mental health needs of our clients. Interventions will center on play and role-modeling in a peer-mentor relationship that is developed with each client with disabilities.
Work is conducted in a one-on-one setting with the client in their home or in the community. COVID Safety protocols apply.
Additionally, this position may include interpreting clinical assessment sessions or providing otehr assessment related support.
- Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
- Must be 18 or older

We have approximately 5 hours of standard orientation and training in person and via videos. Students will do job training after that. There are group trainings twice a month with updates and training on individual clients assigned.
2x monthly group trainings, 1x updates & training on individual clients assigned.
All staff are livescanned. Students will not drive with clients in their car, but need their own vehicles to get to/from client homes and meeting locations. Masks are worn for all in-person interactions.
Students may be working unsupervised with minor or other vulnerable populations.
