Opportunity Summary 

Reports to: Administration Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level, confidential, efficient, and comprehensive administrative support to the Administrative Coordinator and the entire Executive team for administrative processes with a focus on daily operations, advancement, and communications.

• Support agency Fundraising & Advancement efforts, including ongoing donor appreciation, and special projects.

Assisting with CAB’s fundraising efforts and special initiatives/events may include: Creation & dissemination of promotional materials: newsletters, brochures, correspondence (both electronic and “hard copy”), website and social media management.

Support with fundraising event planning & implementation.

• Support, create and maintain strong organizational systems, forms and processes for the Administrative Coordinator and the agency as a whole, including organized document filing and paperless systems.

• Understand and support the agency mission with a strong understanding of confidentiality and cultural competency, and with a commitment to the goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Supporting special projects including our Community Action Plan process (community and non-profit partner engagement), Strategic Plan implementation and Advocacy efforts.

• Event planning or event coordination-single day or one-time support for a specific event.

Use different communication methods which include email, web, social media and working on marketing and graphic design efforts as well.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • Bilingual/Bi-literate strongly preferred; excellent English & Spanish written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations with a diverse population. • Ability to work in a collaborative partnership environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • A clear understanding of, and the ability to demonstrate, professional ethics, boundaries, and judgment. • Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability are imperative. • Action oriented with strong problem-solving skills and outstanding follow-through. • Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities. • Strong initiative and enthusiasm and willingness to pitch in whenever needed. • Able to communicate well at all levels of the organization, including organizational/partner leadership. • Ability to work flexibly within project scope while maintaining overall direction and structured priorities. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Zoom/Teams virtual platforms, social media. • Integrity to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. • Able to create a culture of trust and belonging within the organization.
