Opportunity Summary 

Peace Of Mind Dog Rescue (POMDR) is seeking a student in the ooffice helping with Intake & Rescue program/Helping Paw Program, helping with adoptable dogs at the office, assisting at adoption events, and possibly remote opportunities like helping respond to general inquiries from the public.

  • Must be available for Saturday adoption events.
  • Other opportunities during the week at our vet clinic or offices
    • open Mon - Sat, 9am - 4pm

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Bilingual Desired
Opportunity Training 

We offer in-person training for office volunteer responsibilities, we offer a virtual volunteer orientation that covers all of the volunteer opportunities within the organization, and they will have oversight from our Volunteer Coordinator and Operations Manager while volunteering with POMDR. Students will have on-going supervision from the Volunteer Coordinator and they are welcome to approach the Volunteer Coordinator or Operations Manager for support at any time.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Release of liability is required to help at off-site adoption events and to work with handling adoptable dogs.
