Opportunity Summary 

Work with students at Raíces y Cariño to create art projects individually and in a group setting. Under the supervision of a professional Watsonville artist with over 7 years of experience teaching art classes. Focus age ranges: Intermediate youth group 14-17 years; Beginner youth group 11-14; Kids art group 5-11; and Neurodiverse art group (ages to be determined).

  • Pre-Placement Training
  • Bilingual Desired
Opportunity Training 

Weekly training sessions going over weekly activities and reflecting on passed week's activities. In class observation of leads art teacher.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm). Or, students may be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be overseeing more than 8 people. Some classes may run passed 6pm.
