Opportunity Summary

The Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) in the after school program offer all TK-6th grade students access to comprehensive after-school and intersessional expanded learning opportunities in person.

  • Focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experience

  • This year there is a new structure to ensure we meet students' needs and expose them to many great activities (Yoga, Exercise, Art, Music, Theater, English, Math, Science and more!)

“Expanded learning opportunities” does not mean an extension of instructional time, but rather, opportunities to engage pupils in enrichment play, nutrition, and other developmentally appropriate activities.  EC Section 46120[e]

Additionally, the Community School Coordinator would like service learners' support in conducting empathy interviews from our students to gain insight into what we can do as a district and have our students be part of the changes we make!
