Opportunity Summary 

Siena House serves displaced mothers and babies by offering them a safe and stable environment to grow and achieve independence.

This is an opportunity to assist with developing and evaluating evidence-based programming for participants and alumni of Siena House.  Other volunteer tasks include:

  • Holding babies
  • Light cleaning
  • Meal prep
  • Gardening
  • Admin support
  • Mentoring
  • Assisting a doula
  • Assisting with Field Trips
  • Assisting or leading special skills classes

 

1 service learner

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • TB Test
  • Vaccinations
Opportunity Training 

Learning opportunities will be provided in the form of shadowing existing staff (Executive Director, Case Manager, LMFT), participation in organizational trainings, as well as educational videos and handouts. Regular, ongoing 1:1s will be provided by the Executive Director. These meetings will consist of reflective supervision and opportunities for feedback.
