Opportunity Summary 

Many opportunities such as videography, editing, photography, visual design, art, website design, script writing, acting, ticket sales, audio design, and production design are offered. All students, even without prior video knowledge, will get hands on experience in real world video production settings.

20 service learner spots

Requirements:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Driver's License
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Reliable transportation to various locations for film shoots
Opportunity Training 

Camera training, editing applications, production training.  Our full time crew will work with students, showing them how to operate equipment, capture a story, and work with a client. Students will be mentored through the process of the project they choose to work on from pre-production to the final product. Students will be given credit for their work encouraging them to pursue further creative opportunities.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

SUPERVISION: Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm). Or, students may be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be overseeing more than 8 people.

Some film sets will contain more than 8 people. No students will be working unsupervised.

Students filming will be trained on contracts and how to operate safely in a place of business or during a live event.
