Opportunity Summary 

The Alisal Center for Fine Arts (ACFA) is a creative hub for artists and advocates alike connecting, teaching and strengthening our community. Through a holistic approach, we cultivate youth leaders committed to cultural affirmation and community transformation. We offer free fine arts instruction in Traditional Aztec Dance, Visual Arts, Latin Percussion, Rondlla Guitar and Community Theater.

Service learners will create video and photographic content to be curated into social media posts, flyers, and website content.

Requirements:

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • TB Test
  • Bilingual Desired
Opportunity Training 

Students will trained in photography, videography, editing and post production.  Filmmaking and editing workshops will be provided in person and in teams.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

SUPERVISION: Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm), which in the winter is dark after that time.  

Service learners may also conduct some tasks independently while the executive director is off site.
