Opportunity Summary 

The City of Gonzales is looking to expand STEM education within their community, and incorporate STEM education and activities within their youth after school program. The City of Gonzales is looking for guidance on curriculum development, and research on robotics and other STEM related activities directed toward youth.

Responsibilities:

  • Research activities and develop a workshop utilizing 3D printing pens; not purchased but need support researching workshop ideas in preparation for when materials are purchased.
     
  • Research activities and develop a workshop utilizing model car kits; not purchased but need support researching workshop ideas in preparation for when materials are purchased.
     
  • Research and develop other activities related to robotics.

Requirements:

  • Background check consisting of fingerprinting, live scan, and driving record
Opportunity Training 

Orientation, training, and supervision will be provided to service learners.
