Opportunity Summary 

Providing afterschool support to students from K - 12th grade. Most support is overseeing any homework they need with, or any craft projects they'd like to participate in. Also a recreational space, so overseeing board games and other activities.

Opportunity Training 

There will be an initial onboarding on library policy and volunteer expectations. Supervisors will be always be on site to provide training, mentoring, etc. There will be weekly check-in discussions with a supervisor.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Students interested in this position will need to submit a general Monterey County Free Libraries volunteer application.

Students will then be asked to complete a brief interview to ensure that library staff can determine if the student will be a good fit for the homework center.
