Opportunity Summary 

Wonder Wood Ranch uses equine therapy to provide hope and healing to trauma-impacted youth in Monterey County, helping them to find purpose and become positive contributors to their community.

For this opportunity, students will be involved with caring for animals, including horses, helping youth, helping around the ranch, and/or helping to manage and promote the nonprofit.

3 service learner spots

 

Opportunity Training 

Students will be trained for any tasks assigned to them.  Students will be supervised by ranch staff.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students may work with live animals.
