Opportunity Summary 

Oasis Charter School is a small, one-school district K-6 school that serves 186 students and 35 staff members. This opportunity is for coaching a small group of students in our afterschool program on simple coding, game design or other area of expertise.

Located at 1135 Westridge Parkway, Salinas 

Schedule for participation: The life After School program runs 3:00-5:15 p.m. except for Wednesdays, which are 12:30-5:15 p.m.

Complete a Background Check/LiveScan and TB before participating at the school.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 
  • Teach basic coding, game design concepts or other area of expertise to students in an after-school program.
  • Support collaboration and problem-solving in group activities.
  • Provide feedback and reflect on teaching to improve skills.
