Opportunity Summary

Looking for a service learner to assist with sourcing grants and building a donation database. The service learner will help identify relevant grants, both monetary and in-kind, including those for animal rescue and small business needs. They will research federal, private, and other available grants, track eligibility, deadlines, and application requirements. This task is critical to securing resources for the organization’s rescue efforts and charity vintage shop. Additionally, the volunteer will create and maintain a database of breed-specific and animal-specific rescues within California, enabling the organization to refer people to appropriate resources when they are unable to rescue animals themselves. This opportunity will directly support the organization's operations and growth while providing valuable experience in grant research and database management.
