Opportunity Summary 

While at the Veterans Transition Center the student will:

  • Work closely with the case management and management departments within the Veterans Transition Center to learn about contributing factors to food and housing (in)security.
  • Develop skills in identifying the challenges, strengths and assets of the community.
  • Learn about community resources that contribute to the security for housing and future sustainability of the formerly homeless population.

  • Must be 18 or older
Opportunity Training 

The students will be supervised by the Human Resource department, shadowing the HR Manager.
