Opportunity Summary 

The students will be given the opportunity to be a head coach of a girls' basketball team.

10 service learner spots

 

 

Opportunity Training 

Support in good coaching behaviors and assistance as needed, as well as weekly check-ins.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 
  • POPULATION SERVED: Girls from the age of 12-14. Students may be working unsupervised with minor or other vulnerable populations.
  • SUPERVISION: Will be coaching a team of 10 girls. Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm). Or, students may be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be overseeing more than 8 people.
