The internship with Friendly Robots Company involves familiarizing with our commercial grade autonomous service robot, perform deployment of the robot and test and verify its cleaning features. Through this internship students will have a first hand experience with a working service robot and provide product feedback to the team. Other opportunities in terms of business will also be presented to the intern so as to gain real-life business operations.
- Experience with the operations and value propositions of commercial service robots. - Experience with customer discovery, business development and operations of a small startup company.
The student will be trained in the operations and deployment of service robots, perform engineering analysis and create engineering products to improve the robot.
This work is reasonably safe. It does involve the movement of a commercial sized autonomous robot machine. However, with supervision and common sense no serious risk is posed.
