Coach - Girls on the Run Central Coast Inc.At — Girls on the Run Central Coast Inc
Glitter, stickers, and hair chalk -- running never looked this good. Girls on the Run inspires participants of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths while building a sense of connection in a team setting. Coaches are trained to facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development to enable participants to adapt to whatever comes their way.
At the end of the 10-week season, the team completes a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion. Empower girls during their most formative years and become a Girls on the Run coach. It’s a party you don’t want to miss!
Girls on the Run Coaches do not have to be runners or have prior coaching experience.

Site visits are made by organizational staff and board members throughout the season.
A handful of our teams hold evening practice from 5:30-7:00. Coaching is ALWAYS done in groups of 2-3 and the volunteers should not be in the practice location without their co-coach(s) present. This is to ensure both the safety of the our coaches and participants.
Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm). Or, students may be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be overseeing more than 8 people.
