Opportunity Summary 

Carmel Youth Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team! If you have experience working with children, strong classroom management skills, ability to work both indoors and outdoors, and a desire to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the community
  • Implement a curriculum that aligns with learning frameworks and child development principles
  • Supervise indoor/outdoor activities, including field trips
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

6 service learner spots

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Preferred to have some college units in Child Development, ECE, or a related field
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in a child care or teaching environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Live Scan is required
  • Bilingual/multilingual skills a plus!
