Farm Discovery Fall Feast Event Coordination & Admin Support - SUMMER 2025At — Farm Discovery at Live Earth

Opportunity Summary 

Support the planning and promotion of Fall Feast, Farm Discovery’s largest community fundraising and celebration event. Students will work alongside staff to coordinate logistics, communicate with vendors, and support outreach efforts. This opportunity allows students to explore ethical practices in nonprofit management, donor engagement, and local food systems.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned:

  • Ethical practices in nonprofit event and donor management
  • How to manage event logistics and communications
  • Skills in stakeholder engagement and community-centered fundraising
Opportunity Training 

Orientation to Farm Discovery’s mission and fundraising strategy, training in nonprofit event logistics, and ethical donor engagement.

Opportunity Supervision

Direct mentorship from Development staff with bi-weekly progress meetings and on-call support during event preparations.
