Opportunity Summary 

School Program Opportunity:

You will learn about our education programs and assist by supporting the HSP team during class presentations, educational environmental activities and field trips. Our educational experiences are focused creating closeness to nature by leading nature journaling lessons, plant ID lessons, seed explorations, insect explorations, and connecting nature studies to the big picture issues like climate change.

Greenhouse Programs Opportunity:

You will work alongside and get to know the Green Thumbs and Docents of Native Species. You'll learn techniques for plant propagation, assist with native plant species transplanting and propagating activities, and in turn learn so much about California native plants.

Time Availability: 

Most Saturdays: 8:00 am- 2:00 pm, Thursdays & Fridays: 7:30 am-2:30 pm
