Description of Duties:
- Implement farming and culinary curriculum.
- Support education programs at the direction of or in collaboration with the programs team
- Serving with Education team and Field Manager on day to day organic farming
- operations
- Propagation and greenhouse work, planting, composting, harvesting, and post harvest handling.
- Daily husbandry of Goat heard and flocks of chickens
- Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare
- reports, memos, and documents, updating and ensuring the accuracy of the organization's databases
- Act as a friendly ambassador, welcoming the public & upholding the mission of Farm
- Discovery and Live Earth Farm
- Support program outreach to local and regional agricultural and business communities
- to help develop relationships
- Assist in the maintenance of the Farm Discovery customer database (Sal
- esforce software)
Desired Skills:
Interest in farming and education, experience and comfort with spending long periods of time outdoors
Time Availability: M-F, 8AM-4PM
