Opportunity Summary 

Service Learners will provide service to patrons of Monterey County Free Libraries – Marina Branch through the means of Tech Support by completing the following responsibilities:  

Responsibilities:

  • Support is needed for members of the public, with a focus on seniors. Your assistance will cover a range of tasks, from demonstrating how to use apps on smartphones to guiding individuals through complex file transfers, especially for those with limited experience. Through this role, you will develop valuable skills in instructional communication, patience, and technical troubleshooting.

  • A good attitude and willingness to help others

Site Requirements:

The library wants to have the service learner visit for around 3-4 hours on the same day each week. There are also openings for 2 service learners on saturday.

Library Hours:
Monday 10 am - 6 pm
Tuesday 11 am - 7 pm
Wednesday 11 am - 7 pm
Thursday 11 am - 7 pm
Friday 10 am - 5 pm
Saturday 10 am - 5 pm
