Community Builders for Monterey County is looking for a creative, outgoing volunteer to help with marketing and public relations. Perfect for students interested in media, communications, or nonprofit work.

1 Service Learner Slot

What you’ll do:

  • Craft consistent, compelling messaging for business sponsors, donors, nonprofits, and other audiences.
  • Create content for outreach materials and events
  • Collaborate with our social media team on campaigns and initiatives.
  • Help shape our marketing plan.

Opportunity Training 

We provide a general training but work closely with students for their success. Students should have some experience or a strong desire to work with social marketing as a starting point for this position.

Opportunity Supervision

We are a small group with a closely knit team so ongoing support is constant.
