Opportunity Summary 

PawPal – Connecting Pets, People, and Communities

Long term, PawPal will grow into a community hub (like a pet-focused Reddit) where guardians can post lost/found pets, share resources, ask questions, and build local support networks.

Students will validate whether PawPal's current physical matching criteria perform well in the lost dog scenarios by utilizing either options:

  • Public Dog Youtube Videos
  • Own Videos

Student Opportunities:
Work collaboratively in SwiftUI and Firebase to implement core features, refine the user interface, and contribute to documentation. Students will see how their technical work supports real-world animal welfare outcomes.
