Opportunity Summary
The PHysical Ocean Environment and Nearshore Integrated eXperimentation (PHOENIX) platform in the Department of Meteorology is a small Uncrewed Aerial System (sUAS) that is used by the Ortiz-Suslow research group for studying the ocean surface and coastal processes. Several new integration of sensors are planned for the PHOENIX and a research assistant is needed to help with various aspects of this new effort including in-lab testing and development, flight tests, and post-flight data analysis.
