Opportunity Summary 

We have an opportunity for a student to support ongoing design and build efforts for a floating spacecraft simulator. Possible tasks could include: Design 3D printed objects necessary for the project. Using the Autofusion software, you can create PVC printed objects using the Space System Academic Group 3D printer. Expect to create various mounts and protective casings for a variety of electrical and sensitive components. Test and build up electrical equipment needed for the project. Expect to solder, tin, and connect various electrical components together to turn the floating spacecraft station (FSS) from a wall-mounted device to a 100% battery operated system. Ensure that all safety protocols including the handling of electrical equipment are followed.
