CST462: AWQA Website RedesignAt — California Marine Sanctuary Foundation (CMSF)

This opportunity is reserved for students enrolled in CST 462S. 

AWQA Redesign Project:

Utilizing Wordpress, the student will be updating and designing our Agricultural Water Quality Alliance (AWQA) website (https://www.awqa.org) to be more relevant, engaging, and useful.

The project would include meeting with the project supervisor to determine goals and specific content of the website, however student would have fairly free range on design concept.

Student would also be able to, encouraged to reach out to other organizations that are a part of AWQA for content they may want shared on the website.

Decision Support Tool Project:

Assist in the creation of a Decision Support Tool to be hosted on the AWQA website. The Decision Support Tool with be a decision tree style tool designed to help growers evaluate practices available to help improve the water quality in their surface water runoff. The tool will be a follow up to the Self-Assessment which growers complete as part of their Farm Plan under Agricultural Order 4.0. The student will help to build the bones of the tool and make a functioning design within the AWQA website. The content for the tool will later be added in, this project is focused on building the structure.
