Opportunity Summary 

The intake specialist is a valuable position for our in person VITA Sites. They are the first point of contact our tax payers have with tax sites. Intake Specialist ensure the tax payers have the correct paperwork before the client is able to have tax services done. They also work with the Site Coordinator to communicate with tax payers and tax specialist. They will assist UWMC staff in the collection of data and metrics for tax sites.

Opportunity Training 

UWMC staff will provide in person training and general overview of the program and responsibilities.

Opportunity Supervision

UWMC Staff will meet with volunteers before tax season and conduct training. The students will then connect with the site coordinator and meet with UWMC staff once a week as a check in for documents and questions.
