Financial Literacy Education (FLE)
What is Financial Literacy Education (FLE)?
Financial Literacy Education programs help individuals and families build practical money skills—budgeting, credit, saving, and financial decision-making—through workshops and community-based education.
Why this matters:
Access to clear, practical financial education is uneven, and strong data is essential for understanding who is being reached, what’s effective, and how programs can improve. Integrating data with digital tools, including program websites, helps organizations communicate impact and make information more accessible to the community.
What you’ll do and gain:
Students will work with real (de-identified) program data to organize datasets, analyze participation and outcomes, and create summary statistics and visuals. Students may also support light integration with the program website, such as preparing content, visuals, or data summaries for web use. You’ll gain hands-on experience in applied data analysis, reporting, and translating data into clear, user-facing digital content—valuable skills for careers in technology, data, design, and social impact.
