Several years ago, Sustainable Salinas had a tree giveaway program for Salinas residents, but until now they have been unable to track how successful this program was. The goal of this project is to develop a survey that will be emailed/texted to tree recipients to collect data on whether or not trees survived, which trees thrived the most, and who cared for the trees. This will inform whether or not this type of program should run again.
