Opportunity Summary 

We are seeking motivated students to assist with hands-on work at the Moss Landing Shore Lab. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in marine and environmental science while working directly with live organisms and field measurements.

1 Service Learner Spot.

Students will assist with daily lab tasks, including spot-checking water quality by measuring dissolved oxygen levels and temperature. On select days, students will also help collect biological data on flatfish, such as measuring growth lengths and monitoring food consumption.

Opportunity Training 

Videos for training in handling wildlife and research safety.

Opportunity Supervision

Hands on, I will be there assisting and answering questions as needed. I will be available through text or call as well.
