Opportunity Summary 

The Central Coast Climate Collaborative (4C) is seeking an intern to support regional collaboration to advance climate adaptation and resilience efforts across the 6-county Central Coast region. This internship offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about climate change and sustainability to support regional coordination and capacity building for climate resilience practitioners and stakeholders. Interns will gain a hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, event design and planning, research, writing, and more. Interns will work closely with local climate leaders, contribute to real-world projects, and strengthen their professional network. Key tasks include maintaining the Central Coast Climate Funding Opportunity Tracker, supporting the development and implementation of a regionwide Resilience Hubs Accelerator Program, providing event planning and coordination support, developing regionally tailored fact sheets and resources, and assisting with general collaborative administration and operations.

Opportunity Training 

Training will be provided on all software programs that will need to be used, including Google docs/sheets, Airtable, Constant Contact, and others. Content training will also be provided based on the student's existing familiarity with climate change topics.
