Opportunity Summary 

Come have fun at The Salinas Family YMCA!  Support and assist the staff at the Y to implement their summer programming for youth in grades TK - 8th.

WEEKLY CAMPS: 

  • June 1 - Aug 7
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Salinas Family YMCA, 117 Clay St, Salinas, CA 93901

DAILY SCHEDULE:

  • 7:30a - Table Top Activities
  • 9:00a - Snack
  • 9:15a - CAMPFIRE
  • 9:45a - Art
  • 10:30a - Skill development
  • 11:15a - Craft
  • 12:00p - Lunch
  • 1:00p - Social Emotional
  • 1:45p - Group Games
  • 2:30p - Snack
  • 2:45 - Enrichment
  • 3:30p - Clubs

Requirements:

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Must be 18 or older
Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be working with groups of children. This may require them to be left unsupervised for short periods of time.
