Opportunity Summary 

The Executive Assistant Support Intern will work closely with the CEO and Leadership Team of United Way of Santa Cruz County, providing essential administrative, organizational, and operational support. This role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit management, strategic coordination, and community engagement.

The intern will assist with:

  • scheduling,
  • communications,
  • stakeholder engagement, and
  • project coordination

Requirements:

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Driver's License
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Ability to attend occasional evening in-person meetings and events.
  • Comfortable working in professional settings and at public gatherings.
  • Ability to stand for periods (up to 1 hour) and lift to 10-20 lbs for event setup as needed.

 

Opportunity Training 

Interns will have be fully onboarded and supported by the CEO. A handbook will support their process and continuous learning opportunities will be offered throughout the internship.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity
