Girls on the Run Central Coast is seeking motivated, dependable interns for the academic year who are passionate about youth empowerment, nonprofit work, and community engagement. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and program support in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
Each week, the Executive Director will identify tasks that align organizational needs with the intern’s interests and skills, while regularly checking in to ensure the intern has the resources and support needed to succeed. Opportunities for professional shadowing will also be provided. Depending on organizational needs and the intern’s interests, responsibilities may include organizing program materials and digital content, as well as assisting with the promotion and execution of program, fundraising, and marketing events.

Requirements:
- 4-6 hr online orientation
- 2.5 hour in-person coach training
- Resume and cover letter
- Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
- Computer Literacy
- Driver's License
- Bilingual Desired
Intern must complete a 4-6 hr online orientation as well as attend a 2.5 hour in-person coach training.
The intern will be supported by the nonprofit’s Executive Director, who will provide weekly guidance and remain available to answer questions as they arise.
Students may need to work at night after 6pm at public events.
Students may work with minors when paired with another member of our organization.
