Branchlet - Monterey County Free Libraries (Marina)At — Monterey County Free Libraries - Marina Branch

Opportunity Summary

**FULL FOR FALL 2026**

Throughout Monterey County, there are a number of “take-a-book, leave-a-book” style lending libraries, called branchlets, that were established by the Monterey County Free Library system. The Programs, outreach, and Youth Services (POYS) team is responsible for overseeing these branchlets and ensuring that they remain relatively clean, stocked, and functional.

In this role, you would be tasked with supporting the ongoing inventory, cleaning, and filling of branchlets throughout Monterey County. Primarily, you would be assisting with the ongoing branchlet inventory by travelling to sites where the branchlets are supposed to be and establishing the existence/condition of the branchlets at those sites.

If you want to travel Monterey County and help support our libraries, this is the opportunity for you!

Opportunity Training

Our team will provide background on the branchlets and what to look for, locations (to the best of our knowledge), and all other information related to finding, cleaning, and stocking up the branchlets.
