Soledad is a city in Monterey County, California, United States. It is in the Salinas Valley, 21 miles (34 km) southeast of Salinas, the county seat. Soledad's origins started with Mission Nuestra Señora de la Soledad, founded by the Spanish in 1791, under the leadership of Fermín de Lasuén. Catalina Munrás began developing the town of Soledad on her Rancho San Vicente in the 1860s, which eventually incorporated as a city in 1921. Today, Soledad is a notable tourist destination, owing to the heavily restored mission, its proximity to Pinnacles National Park, and its numerous vineyards, as part of the Monterey wine region.

We are a small regenerative farm that teaches workshops, runs a CSA, and hosts farm to table dinners. Sound Soulutions was designed to utilize music/creative arts to heal traumatized youth and explore inner self in a non-traditional method. Sound Soulutions’ leverages creative art techniques, and therapeutic modalities to heal the soul by introducing healthy replacement behaviors and culturally responsive methods for change. The program increases coping mechanisms, boosts leadership qualities and connects youth with community resources for on-going success. Sound Soulutions works to Create coping through arts, lyrics, and provide leadership opportunities to Empower youth through their work to Conquer negative behavior and thoughts.

South County Animal Rescue was established to provide rescue and assistance for domestic animals. Our goal is to significantly reduce the homeless population of domestic animals in South County through safe rescue and adoption services, awareness and education. We strive to establish relationships with other rescue agencies and collaborate to save more lives.

Service Learners will have the opportunity to assist in the food pantry, preparing food for distribution, assisting clients, hot meal serving, preparing food for serving, clean up, and set up.

The mission is to protect lives, property, and the environment through prompt and professional emergency response services. This includes fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, and disaster relief. Additionally, the department is committed to fire prevention, public safety education, and fostering a sense of community involvement. The goal is to serve the community with integrity, dedication, and compassion, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
