Opportunity Summary 

Fort Tejon State Historic Park provides a glimpse into what life was like for those people who lived at a frontier U.S. Army fort in the 1850s. Learn how to give guided tours for students and the public at this unique historic site located in Grapevine Canyon at the southern end of California's Great Central Valley.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

An internship at Fort Tejon State Historic Park will include learning how to give virtual and on-site school tours. Learn the elements involved in giving a guided tour for the public. Create outreach materials to showcase Fort Tejon State Historic Park's programs to fourth grade students and their families, Boy and Girl Scout Troops, and the general public.
