Food Recovery Forum VolunteersAt — CSUN Energy and Sustainability, Facilities Planning Design and Construction
CSUN Sustainability is looking for volunteers for its Food Recovery Forum on Wednesday, April 10th at 10:00 am. Volunteer tasks include: attendee tracking, guest check-ins, photography, wayfinding, running a microphone etc. Join us to gain valuable knowledge, meet the organizations working hard to keep food out of landfills and learn about a paid service opportunity in the field of food recovery. Refreshments will be provided, and all attendees will receive certificates.
Learn about sustainability and how local organizations are combating the food waste crisis. Students will gain insight on local for profit and non-profit sustainabile organizations. As a part of their volunteering, students will gain insider knowledge on the logistics of event planning and organizing large scale events such as conferences.
Volunteers will also learn about opportunities in the sustainability available locally.
No training will be necessary.
