Volunteers and Mentors provide additional caring, consistent role models for our youth and young adults that help them gain emotional resilience, build social support, and encourage educational attainment and career pathways. At Optimist, children and youth living in or at risk of foster care learn that there is a hopeful path forward.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Learn how to mentor at risk children and youth. Get experience working at a nonprofit. Connect with other volunteers.
Opportunity Training
Online training is required.
