Pollinator Ambassadors: U100 OpportunityAt — CSUN - Institute for Sustainability (U100 Project)

Opportunity Summary 

Students will learn to identify various plants and plant pollinator-friendly flora and remove invasive plant species in the CSUN GARDEN. 

Staff Lead:  Sarah Johnson with California Climate Action Corps (CCAC) Fellow TBD 

Pre-assignment: Watch educational video (will add link) before pollinator activity  

Class Time Required:  One for volunteering in the Garden

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Learn: Students will learn about the importance of pollinators, the lifecycle of butterflies, and how to support pollinator-friendly gardens. They will also learn how to use iNaturalist, an introduction to data collection at CSUN and in the community.
