Marketing/PR Intern At — Haven Hills

Opportunity Summary 

Haven Hills is seeking a current undergraduate or volunteer to serve as an intern. This individual will provide a range of research, writing, data entry, social media management, and administrative support to Haven Hills’ Development Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Conduct research on Domestic Violence trends, statistics, and community activity. Help build and post content for Haven Hills’ social media channels including managing, editing, and writing content for Facebook, Twitter, Threads, and Instagram. Special Projects as needed. Research skills, including the ability to analyze and effectively summarize information. Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word. Knowledge of Social Media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Strong writing and editing abilities. Desire to learn more about fundraising, marketing, and event production. Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Haven Hills will provide an opportunity for the intern to gain experience in and familiarity with fundraising, marketing, domestic violence issues, and day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization.
