Development & Communications InternAt — Food Access LA
Intern is responsible for supporting the Director of Development & Communications with key fundraising and communications initiatives with a primary focus on social media and fundraising support. Project-based Responsibilities: Social Media Content Creation & Management - Serve as community manager for multiple accounts to drive engagement and cultivate relationships while maintaining brand voice(s)/tone - Coordinate and manage social media calendar for multiple accounts - Develop and maintain a media asset management system in collaboration with Director Donor CRM Development & Management - Research, develop, and maintain donor CRM in collaboration with Director Other Responsibilities - Support with gathering data and content for fundraising and communications asset development - Site visits to farmers' markets and events to gather content - Coordination with team members to collect media assets for content creation - General administrative support
- How to schedule, post, and copywrite for an organization's social media posts - How to gather, organize, and maintain data - How to communicate with partner organizations, funders, and executives - The efforts it take to fund a nonprofit and the number of foundations we work with to maintain our operations - How fundraising, data management, and marketing all tie together to push for more food access in Los Angeles
Students will be trained and supervised by the Director or on site supervisors. Students are expected to take initiative, ask questions, and be open to discussing tasks and processes.

This is an ongoing internship opportunity starting July through the rest of the school year and we encourage all students to apply.
