Request for Community Learning Agreement

Please use this form to request a Community Learning Agreement be put in place between Sacramento State and a proposed Community Partner.  The Community Learning Agreement, a legal contract between the Community Partner and Sacramento State, must be in place before the student(s) can begin their academic internship and/or service learning hours.

Please start early and contact the Community Engagement Center (cec@csus.edu) for assistance (at least one semester prior to using the site for Service Learning/Academic Internships). 

Deadlines for requesting Agreements:

• April 15 for Fall courses
• October 15 for Spring courses
• February 15 for Summer courses

The process of seeking a new agreement involves multiple offices on campus as well as off campus. While we are committed to processing requests as quickly as possible, we are unable to guarantee that an Agreement will be executed by a particular date. Requests are processed in the order in which they are received.  We strongly suggest getting your requests in as soon as possible, and not waiting to submit just prior to the deadline. Please contact cec@csus.edu if you have questions.
