Opportunity Summary 

Safequest Solano is the countywide nonprofit providing services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Our services include a 24 hour crisis line, crisis counseling, shelter care, case management, court accompaniment, and immediate services for rape victims in the emergency rooms. There is the opportunity to provide trauma informed psychotherapy. Safequest also conducts a 4 week prevention program in the middle schools.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn effective interventions to help survivors cope with the trauma they have experienced. Students will learn about the cycle of domestic violence and the psychological impact of trauma. Students will gain knowledge of available resources and how to assist clients in utilizing them.

Opportunity Training 

Student will be required to take an 80 hour training before beginning to provide services.

Staff and students are required to be vaccinated against COVID, as well as having received available boosters.
