Student internships on teams within Placer County's Adult System of Care and Children's System of Care.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Student interns will learn how to complete BPS assessments, care and treatment plans, diagnosing of MH and substance use disorders, obtain knowledge on the resources and providers available to adult and children Medi-Cal beneficiaries of Placer County, link those beneficiaries to those resources, understand and determine decision-making dedicated to child welfare and emergency response, and identifying 5150 criteria when called upon in a emergency response context.
