FLY Program: Fresh Lifelines for Youth

Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) is an award-winning nonprofit serving Bay Area youth impacted by the justice system. Our programs connect young people with positive mentors and role models, promote their understanding of the law and their rights, and support them to become leaders among their peers and in their communities. Together with our young people, we also help our justice systems become more just, humane, and equitable. As a result, FLY increases safety and decreases the costs and consequences of crime.

The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership is a 501(c)3 community based non-profit. Our mission and vision support our work to: build strong families, meet the needs of struggling parents to increase self -sufficiency, promote youth development through positive peer and adult relationships and develop employment skills for individuals to achieve their career goals. We bring together resources and programming in a Family Resource Center and Job Center to create a “one-stop” experience, which encourages and supports families as they identify their own needs and reach their goals. Folsom Historical Society

The Folsom Historial Society was founded in 1960 by a group of local residents who recognized the need to preserve local history for future generations. Incorporated in 1961 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, the Society’s mission is to collect, and preserve historical records and artifacts pertaining to Folsom’s rich past and to make these accessible to the public. The Society operates the Folsom History Museums including Pioneer Village which offer exhibits and tours about the California Gold Rush, Folsom’s native inhabitants, local settlers and ethnic groups, and the history of mining, the railroad, the prison and Folsom Powerhouse.
