Opportunity Summary 

Position Description

Support teachers in day-to-day activities by playing age-appropriate games or puzzles, reading books, dancing and music, painting and art. Assisting with snack and some light cleaning.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

  • Learn from working in a daycare setting.
  • Learn more about developmental disabilities.
  • Exposure to children ages 5-22 years old with developmental disabilities.

Desired Qualifications

Some experience working with children or special needs individuals. Creativity and patience are always helpful.

 

Length of Position: One Semester

Hours per Week: 2-4
